Whale sharks are wild animals. No ethical operator guarantees sightings — and you should be suspicious of any operator who does. South Ari Atoll has the highest year-round whale shark concentration in the world, and our sighting rate is very high.
If we don't find whale sharks on the day: we don't cut the trip short. We pivot to the best available alternative — a manta cleaning station, a pristine reef, a sandbank lunch — and we're transparent about conditions from the first moment we assess them.

Yes. Whale shark snorkelling doesn't require diving certification or strong swimming — just the ability to snorkel comfortably in open water. Life jackets are available. Let us know your experience level and we'll brief you thoroughly before entry.
A full-day expedition — typically 10–11 hours door-to-door including transit. Early departure (06:30) is standard to reach the zone in calm morning conditions and maximise time in the water.
A private charter means no 30-person queue, full flexibility to follow a whale shark if it moves, and 2+ extra hours in the water due to faster transit. Group tours are cheaper per person but dramatically limit encounter quality. For a once-in-a-lifetime swim, private is the right call.
