Yes. Day Charter Maldives runs private New Year's Eve cruises from Hulhumalé aboard a Saxdor 400 GTC for up to 12 guests, timed so you're on the water at midnight, plus larger parties aboard Ritrella for up to 50. There is one group per boat, so 31 December is booked first come, first served.

Why book early
We run one private group per boat, and 31 December happens once a year. The festive season from roughly 20 December to 6 January is the busiest period in the Maldives, with the highest resort occupancy and the most demand for private boats. Enquire as soon as your dates are fixed, and we'll hold your request while you confirm.
Fireworks and the view
When public fireworks are scheduled around Malé and Hulhumalé, we position the boat for the view from the water. The official programme is usually confirmed close to the date, so we finalise the route once it's announced, and your captain chooses the safest spot on the night.
About drinks
Alcohol isn't served aboard the Saxdor, so the midnight toast is with alcohol-free sparkling wine or a mocktail. If you want Champagne at midnight, a Ritrella party has two bars aboard, or we can take you to a resort for a licensed celebration and bring you back by yacht.
Safety comes first
Late-evening cruises depend on sea conditions and harbour clearance on the night. If conditions aren't safe, your captain decides, and we reschedule you free of charge for another festive evening or the sunset slot.

Your boat: the Saxdor 400 GTC
Day Charter Maldives offers private charters aboard a Saxdor 400 GTC, a 12.5-metre Scandinavian-designed sports yacht carrying up to 12 guests at up to 40 knots, with an enclosed air-conditioned cabin, a toilet, bow sunpads and a wide swim platform. It departs Hulhumalé, 10 minutes from Malé airport.
