Can you have a private dinner on a yacht in the Maldives?
Yes. From Hulhumalé, the Saxdor 400 GTC runs private dinner cruises: a sunset and dolphin run, then a catered dinner served at anchor under the stars. Alcohol isn't served aboard, so couples who want wine can dine at a resort restaurant instead, travelling there and back by private yacht.

What's on the menu
Dinners aboard are prepared by caterers we work with regularly and brought on board fresh. Grilled reef fish, lobster when available, Maldivian curries and vegetarian menus are all possible, and we can arrange halal, vegetarian and Jain menus on request. Tell us about allergies when you book.
About alcohol
Alcohol is not served aboard the Saxdor. If wine or Champagne with dinner matters to you, choose the resort dinner option: resorts are licensed and serve alcohol, and we take you there and back by private yacht. For a larger group, Ritrella has two bars aboard.
Good for proposals and anniversaries
A sunset dinner at anchor is one of the most private settings for a proposal. We can decorate the deck, hide a photographer's timing inside the evening and keep everything discreet. See our yacht proposal page for how we stage it.
Your boat: the Saxdor 400 GTC
Day Charter Maldives offers private charters aboard a Saxdor 400 GTC, a 12.5-metre Scandinavian-designed sports yacht carrying up to 12 guests at up to 40 knots, with an enclosed air-conditioned cabin, a toilet, bow sunpads and a wide swim platform. It departs Hulhumalé, 10 minutes from Malé airport.

Yes. It is one of our most requested proposal settings. We handle decorations, timing and a photographer discreetly.
If conditions aren't safe or pleasant, we reschedule free of charge. Evenings are often calm, and the Saxdor has an air-conditioned cabin if you need cover.
Yes. Families are welcome, and the cabin and toilet aboard make an evening cruise comfortable for all ages.
Three to seven days is ideal so caterers can prepare. Same-week bookings are often possible, so just ask.
Yes, from resorts across North and South Malé Atoll. Any resort jetty fee is quoted at cost.
