A public ferry is cheap but runs on a fixed schedule, takes 1–3 hours each way, has no reef or sandbank stops, and drops you with dozens of other passengers. A private charter runs on your schedule, stops wherever you want, takes 20–40 minutes between islands, and is entirely your group.
Modest dress is expected in the village — covered shoulders and knees for women; no swimwear. Designated beach areas (usually signposted) allow swimwear. We brief you before landing and it's very easy to navigate respectfully.
Yes — local islands have small cafés and restaurants serving Maldivian food at very affordable prices. A typical lunch is $5–$10 per person. We can also arrange a packed lunch or catered meal aboard if you prefer.
