On alcohol: Maldivian law prohibits alcohol on local islands and aboard private vessels. Celebrations run superbly on mocktails, fresh coconut and cold drinks β or we can route via a licensed resort stop where your group can enjoy a celebratory drink legally and comfortably. Day Charter Maldives offers private day charters aboard a Saxdor 400 GTC β a 12.5-metre Scandinavian-designed sports yacht carrying up to 12 guests at up to 40 knots, with an enclosed air-conditioned cabin, bow sunpads and a wide swim platform. It departs HulhumalΓ©, 10 minutes from MalΓ© airport.

The Saxdor 400 GTC carries up to 12 guests plus the captain and crew. It's the maximum for a private single-vessel experience. For groups larger than 12, we'll advise honestly β either a rotation system or a second vessel.
Yes β decorations arrive on board before your group. Balloons, banners, flowers, a cake. Tell us the theme and we'll make it a surprise. Many groups arrive at the marina and step aboard to a fully decorated deck.
Yes β the Saxdor 400 GTC has a Bluetooth sound system. Send us your playlist or connect your phone at the marina. The open deck and enclosed cabin both benefit from the system.
We'll be honest β squeezing 13+ into a 12-guest boat isn't something we'll do. Options: a rotation (two groups, two trips), a second vessel running parallel, or a larger charter arranged for your specific date. WhatsApp us and we'll find the best solution.
Yes β for company bookings we issue a proper invoice for accounting purposes. Mention this when enquiring and we'll set it up correctly from the start.
Alcohol is not available aboard or on local islands under Maldivian law. Celebrations work brilliantly with mocktails, fresh juice, coconut water and cold drinks. For a licensed venue, we route via a resort stop where your group can enjoy drinks legally. Many groups prefer this β it combines resort access with the private charter day.
